Boundary Survey

To locate lot lines and locate or monument depending on numbers of lot corners or monument witness to corners (offset from corner).

Aztec Land Surveys files “Corner Record ” with Los Angeles County Surveyor’s office if required, estimated time to file 90 to 180 days.

Record of Survey

To locate property lines and monument depending on property corners or monument witness to corners (offset from corner).

Aztec Land Surveys files Record of Survey with LA Co Surveyor.

Architectural Topographic Survey

To locate and visible features and visible utilities, locate trees with 6” or larger diameter, Locate neighbors’ walls and grades 5′ past property lines where accessible.

Street topo 25′ either way of property includes curb, gutter, 1/4 street, sidewalk, elevations on 25′ grid, supply (2) 24X36 drawings signed and stamped, provide PDF and AutoCAD file.

Teardown Topographic Survey

To locate buildings, perimeter walls, concrete limit, all visible utilities, low detail for quantities only, elevation minimal as at lot corners.

Street 25′ either way of property includes curb, gutter, 1/4 street, sidewalk, for “B” permit, supply (2) 24X36 drawings signed and stamped, provide PDF and AutoCAD file.

Slope Analysis

We evaluate the condition of inclined soil or rock slopes to withstand or undergo movement. We will make sure you meet the City of Los Angeles standards.

Offset Certification

To locate all structures in relationship to property lines. Does not included elevations. Includes up to (2) 1X2 hubs with nail for setback location.

Construction Staking

Set (2) 1X2 hubs at (4) building envelope corners on 5 feet offsets unless otherwise noted. (Site plan PDF drawing required at time of contract).

Cut, fill to finish floor and or elevations on each hub (If elevations are shown on site plan).

Height Certification

Meet City of Los Angeles Standards (Site and elevation plan PDF drawing required at time of contract).

LAND SURVEY PROCESS

LAND SURVEY PROCESS

Every stage of work is monitored and supervised closely by Mark Price, who is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor No. LS7764 and President of Aztec Land Surveys, Inc.

Free Quotation

The first process is to provide free quotation to client. Client feels free to consult their land survey requirements for his project with Aztec Land Surveys. To get free estimate, client should be able to provide us contract information such as name, phone number, email address, site address, or Assessor ID (AIN) to provide quote accurately.

Research Before Field Work

The second process is to research before going out on the field. We gather information like city controls, monuments in the area for working on the field. Therefore, we acknowledge circumstances and city controls before executing the job on the site.

Field Work

The third method is to work on the field. In this stage, we use the information that we get from researching to align with the field work. We use high tech equipment to implement work in process precisely.

Data Analysis Drafting in Office

The fourth process is to get work done in the office. We use a specific computer program to process data we get from the field work related to client requirement.

Finished Product to Client

The last stage of work is to have finished product as a drawing deliver to client. Afterwards, Aztec Land Surveys submits the drawing to the Los Angeles County Public Works comply to laws and regulations.
